Dan Xu Song - Biography#
Xu Dan worked as a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (1987-1990). She has been an associate researcher at the CRLAO, (CNRS), UMR 8563 since 1991. In 1995, she became associate professor and in 2003 Professor of Chinese Linguistics at INALCO. She has been elected and served as a Dean of the Chinese Department of the INALCO (2001-2004) and the first President of the Association of Chinese Research and Teaching in France.
She has been invited to be a Honorary professor in four Chinese universities. Between 2007 and 2018, she was an elected member of the Scientific Committee at INALCO. In 2009, she was elected Senior Member of the University Institute of France (IUF).
She has been awarded two important grants from ANR (National Research Agency, Fance) as principal investigator. She obtanied an ERC advance grant as PI in 2019, starting in 2020 for five years.
