Sophia Xenophontos - Biography#
Sophia Xenophontos is the author of 7 books and co-editor of 4 edited volumes. She has also published a total of 50 other studies other studies (articles, chapters, book reviews) in top-rated international academic journals and edited volumes subject to peer review. This is an outstanding record of publications for someone in her age, just over 13 years after her PhD (PhD Awarded in 2011).
Xenophontos has been Project Leader and Principal Investigator on three research projects funded by competitive UK funders. Her overall grant portfolio from grants, prizes and awards amounts to £628,000 (€717,554). She has received 38 invitations to present her research in various universities across the globe (e.g. USA, UK, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Span, Switzerland) and she has organised 4 international conferences herself.
