Linking Research and Innovation for Gender Equality#
CALIPER
project supports seven Research Performing and two Research Funding Organisations in nine countries across Europe, that are in an initial stage on gender equality improvement, to develop Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) and engage the local Innovation Hubs to transfer the gained knowledge beyond academia.
The CALIPER project’s goal is to make research organisations more gender equal by increasing the number of female researchers in STEM, improving their careers prospects and integrating a gender dimension in research.
Academia Europeae Cardiff Knowledge Hub
joined the Horizon 2020-funded CALIPER project, as part of a consortium of organisations that aim to address gender equality within research and innovation in Europe. The Cardiff Hub leads on communications across Europe and encourages wider engagement with the project, producing digital content and organising events. In this, the Hub works closely with the
Young Academy of Europe
(YAE) and
Academia Europaea (AE).
