Gianpiero Rosati - Biography#

Gianpiero Rosati has been a student at the University of Florence (1970-75 ) and graduate student at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa (1975-80). Since 1980 he was a Research Fellow there and then at the University of Florence (1984-87). Associate professor of Latin Literature at the University of Pavia (1987-93) and again at the Scuola Normale (1993-94), since 1994 he has been full professor of Latin Literature at University of Udine (finally serving as director of the Scuola Superiore from 2010 to 2012); since January 2013 he is professor of Filologia latina at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa.
