Abstract

The presentation aims at illustrating the intimate connections between Physics and Mathematics from the viewpoint of a theoretical physicist. The first part discusses the feedback cycle which governs the evolution of the field of Physics. The second focuses on the theme of uncertainty, a fundamental connotation of human reality.
