- Polish nationality and citizenship by birth. Permanent resident of Poland
- 1945, Resettled from Poland (in its historic boundaries) to Poland (the post-Yalta boundary between Poland and the USSR)
EDUCATION, DEGREES, and the ACADEMIC TITLE
- 1957, Graduated from the Civil Building High School (Technikum) in Bydgoszcz
- 1958-1961, Student, Politechnika Wrocławska, Faculty of Ecological Engineering.
- 1962-1968, Student, Uniwersytet Wrocławski, faculty of Law; post-graduate (‘magister”) seminar in history of juridical and political doctrines.
- 1968, Awarded a professional degree of Master of Laws.
- 1969-1972, PhD candidate (Institute of History, Polish Ac. Scs.), Warsaw.
- 1973 – Awarded PhD (a degree of Doctor of Human Sciences) by the Institute of History, Polish Ac. Scs, Warsaw. The dissertation: [in Polish]] “Dependence and Defiance. Argentina and the Rivalries Among the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States, 1930-1946”, published in 1975 (see the Select Bibliography)
- 1999 – Awarded a degree of Doctor Habilitatus in Human Sciences, awarded by the faculty of History, University of Warsaw; based on the book: [in Polish]] State-Socialism in the Actually Existing Capitalism. Chile in the Year 1932, Trio, Warszawa 1996.
- 2011 – Appointed Professor in Human Sciences [an academic perpetual title, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. The decision based on the motion submitted by the Academic Council, Faculty of International and Political Studies, Uniwersytet Jagielloński, as approved by the National Degree and Title Committee]
