Globalization and transnationalization processes; transformations of nation states and changing property relations; migration; neoliberal urban restructuring and migrants; cultural industries; transnational legal spaces; citizenship; ethnographies of the state; Roma in Europe; family law (in relation to the Third Country Nationals); European cultural policies, immigrant cultural production and cultural industries; nationalism and nationalist discourses (with special emphasis on Turkey); theories of ideology, popular and consumer culture
