Professor Sir Robert Edwards#
Academia Europaea is saddened to announce the death of Professor Sir Robert Edwards, pioneer of IVF whose work led to the birth of the first 'test-tube baby' in 1978. Sir Robert Edward was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2010.
