The nomination period 2025/2026 opened on 1st October 2025 and will close on 31st January 2026#
The nomination period for AE membership in 2025/26 has opened. Academia Europaea Ordinary Members are encouraged to nominate distinguished scientists and scholars with proven international recognition.
Please read carefully the nomination guide lines before submitting a new nomination. Particularly, please observe two important new nomination rules:
- Each member may only nominate TWO (2) candidates in each annual cycle (either as first or second nominator, i.e. a member can support (only) two nominations)
- From the nomination period 2025/2026, those candidates designated as “not elected” cannot be re-nominated for a period of two years. This means that candidates not elected in the nomination period 2025/2026 cannot be nominated again until the nomination period 2028/2029.
First steps#
- The online nomination system used the email addresses of the Academy members for identification. Please make sure that the your email address which is registered with the Academy works and is not outdated. If you are not sure, please contact office@ae-info.org
.
- The nomination system can be accessed on PC or tablet. It does not function on a cell phone.
- To enter the nomination platform you'll be asked to identify.
- To identify, enter either your user name or your email address and the password
- If you have forgotten your password, you can obtain a new one by clicking on the button "Get Passsword" at the AE webpages (top right corner) at https://www.ae-info.org .
- Now enter your user name or your email address and click on the button "Send me new password". A new password will then be sent to the address registered in the Academy database. You can change the password after you have logged in.
- Members of Academia Europaea can nominate candidates to any Class or section, not just their own.
