Professor Chris Brewin Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award by International Society of Traumatic Stress Studie (ISTSS)#
Academia Europaea is delighted to announce the award of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS
) to Professor Professor Chris Brewin FAcSS FMedSci FBA, MAE.
Prof. Brewin is UCL PALS Emeritus Professor of Clinical Psychology and was elected as member of the Clinical and Veterinary Science section of Academia Europaea in 2023.
The award which recognises outstanding contributions to the field of traumatic stress, will be presented at the ISTSS annual conference in Boston this September.
About the Lifetime Achievement Award#
The ISTSS Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledges exceptional overall achievement across multiple domains including clinical practice, research, strategy, and policy. Nominees are evaluated on their consistent contributions over a minimum of ten years and their significant influence on the field, such as driving changes in clinical and research practices, implementing innovative policies, and maintaining an extensive publication record.
