FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS, UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, AND EARLY CAREER-STAGE SCIENTISTS#
Time: 6-9 December, 2024
Venue: SZEGED, HUNGARY
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 15 NOVEMBER 2024.
Professor Péter Hegyi MAE, the Director of the Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity under the FROM CURIOSITY TO CAREER PROGRAM. One of its primary missions is to inspire, motivate, and support the career development of young researchers by providing them with opportunities to interact with world-class scientists and learn from their experiences.
Young researchers in Europe often lack the opportunity to meet and engage with distinguished, accomplished scientists who have made significant contributions to their fields. To address this, the Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub, in collaboration with the National Academy of Scientist Education (NASE), is offering a unique, non-profit opportunity for young European researchers to participate in an exclusive event.
The meeting, which will be held from 6th – 9th December in Szeged, will bring together highly distinguished scientists and early-career scientists for keynote lectures, round-table discussions, hands-on laboratory practices, and cultural programmes. Speakers include Nobel laureate Martin Clafie and Ole Petersen CBE MAE ML FRS, Academia Europaea Cardiff Hub Director.
Due to the limited number of available spots (20-30 participants), we are only able to accept applicants who are recommended by an MAE member. If you have multiple candidates, please rank them accordingly.
For more details, please refer to the flyer and visit the links provided. The deadline for nominations is 15 November 2024.
The support by Academia Europaea members will be instrumental in fostering the next generation of European researchers.#
