Among Carmela Baffioni's recent publications there are 14 articles on the Ikhwan al-Safa’ and their possible relations with Ismailism; other articles on Islamic science (embryology and theories on earthquakes); on the Italian scholars C.A. Nallino and F. Gabrieli; on Dante and Islam; and several items for the Encyclopaedia of Medieval Philosophy (Dordrecht: Springer). She has edited and translated the Epistles of the Brethren of Purity: On Logic (2010), and is preparing the new edition and English translation of Epistles 15-21, titled Epistles of the Brethren of Purity: On the Sciences of Nature (2013).
