__Samplings:__ The Stanford Law Review characterized Symeonides as “the giant” of private international law (v. 60 at 249), the Oxford Handbook of Comparative Law as “the world’s leading expert on comparative conflicts law today” (at 1380), and the American Journal of Comparative Law as "the most erudite conflicts scholar in the United States and one of the leading specialists in the field worldwide.
