__Education and academic career__

*1976 Master´s degree in Latin and French summa cum laude from Charles University in Prague\\
*1978 PhDr. degree from Charles University in Prague\\
*1980 Master´s degree in Ancient Greek from Charles University in Prague\\
*1990 CSc (= PhD) degree (Ancient Greek and Latin Linguistics) from Charles University in Prague\\
*2011 Habilitation (Greek and Latin Studies) from Charles University in Prague\\
\\
Dagmar Muchnová has been a member of the Institute of Greek and Latin Studies of the University in Prague since 1976, first as a university lecturer, then a senior lecturer and since 2011 as Associate Professor. Vice-head of the Institute in 2003-2005 and 2006-2010, since 2010 she is head of the Institute. In charge of the Program of Greek Philology, both Ancient and Modern, chairman of the doctoral board Classical Philology at University of Prague, supervisor of 2 doctoral theses, many Master theses and some BC theses.\\

__Teaching experience__

Introductory Greek course, Greek Syntax, Introduction into Linguistics, Greek Syntax and Pragmatics, Greek Prose Composition, Greek dialects: literary and non-literary, Greek diachronic Linguistics, Grammarians and Grammars in Ancient Greece.

__Others academic activities__
\\
*Largely contributed and helped to re-introduce Ancient Greek among the disciplines taught in Charles University in the nineties.\\
*Systematic introduction of modern linguistic concepts into the Greek courses\\
*Cooperation with the research group ‘Aspect verbal’, coordinated by B. Jacquinod (Université de Saint-Etienne) and J. Lallot (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris), in the nineties.\\
*Involved in the long term project sponsored by the Ministry of Education (MSM 0021620825), coordinator of Classical Languages section : 2005-2011.\\
*co-organizer of the International Europaeum Classics Colloquium on Teaching, Teachers and Students. Charles University, Prague, 6th - 8th November 2009.
